• Workout logs (exercises, weights, reps, sets, dates)

• Music links (Spotify or Apple Music URLs for your "PR Song")

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain the GymRivals service

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services:

• Firebase Authentication - Secure account management
• Cloud Firestore - Encrypted database storage
• Firebase Storage - Secure file storage for profile photos

All data is transmitted using industry-standard TLS encryption.

4. Data Sharing

Your data may be shared in the following limited circumstances:

• With Friends: Users you've added as friends can see your profile, workout activity, medals, and achievements
• Leaderboards: Your username and ranking points are visible to other users on public leaderboards
• Service Providers: We use Google Firebase to host and operate our services
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law

5. Your Rights and Controls

You have the right to:

• Access: View all your data within the app
• Export: Download your workout data as CSV from Settings
• Delete: Permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings
• Control Visibility: Choose what information is shared with friends (e.g., PR Song visibility toggle)

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account:

• All personal data is permanently deleted
• All workout logs and exercises are removed
• Profile photos are deleted from storage
• Friend connections are removed

This deletion is irreversible and typically completes within 24 hours.

7. Children's Privacy

GymRivals is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Third-Party Services

Our app may contain links to third-party services:

• Spotify/Apple Music: When you add a PR Song, we store the music link. Opening the song redirects you to the respective music platform.

These services have their own privacy policies that govern your use.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, providing notice within the app.
